A DM plant primarily works on the principle of Ion Exchange Technology.
Removes positively charged ions (Cations) such as calcium, magnesium, and sodium.
These ions are replaced with Hydrogen ions (H+).
Removes negatively charged ions (Anions) such as chloride, sulfate, nitrate, and bicarbonate.
These ions are replaced with Hydroxide ions (OH-).
Hydrogen (H+) and Hydroxide (OH-) combine to form pure water (H₂O).
This process significantly reduces water conductivity and produces high-purity demineralized water.
