A sludge dewatering machine centrifuge is a specialized piece of equipment designed to remove excess water from sludge, a byproduct of various industrial and wastewater treatment processes. - Vertical Centrifuge: Vertical centrifuges are typically used for smaller sludge volumes or when handling thicker sludge. They have a vertical cylindrical bowl with a rotating impeller inside, which forces the sludge against the bowl wall, separating the solids from the water.
- Disc Stack Centrifuge: This type of centrifuge uses a stack of discs to increase the sedimentation area, improving dewatering efficiency. It is often used for sludge with high solids content.
